The registration application for the Pastel de Feijao de Torres Vedras designation has been approved. This decision grants national protection to the designation as a Protected Geographical Indication, effective from 6 December 2023, the date the registration application was submitted to the European Commission. Published in the Diario da Republica – Notice (extract) no. 2487/2024, of 31 January.
At the 13th National Contest for Rich Traditional Portuguese Confectionery, the Pastel de Feijao de Torres Vedras by Brasao(R) won the Gold Medal, confirming its excellence and unmatched flavour.
